口徑 ：18.1×11.9（cm）

簋：盛放煮熟的泰、稷、稻、粱等糧食。

方形器身，侈口，縮頸，高圈足外撇，雙附耳。周身有扉稜。頸部及長邊的足面皆飾夔鳳紋，腹部飾獸面紋，短邊的足面飾鳥紋，地皆填雲雷紋。器外底留有加強筋。器內底可視一「亞醜」族氏銘文。

亞醜鑄器多次出土於山東益都蘇埠屯，學者或以為即《左傳》之薄姑氏，晚商時極盛，至西周早期為成王所滅。

存世具銘之亞醜鑄器，約四成為方形器，是商周方形銅器的大宗。

Square Gui food container of Ya-chou

Late Shang to Early Western Zhou Dynasty

c. 11th century B.C.E.

Gui: Container for cooked rice and grains.

The Ya-chou bronzes have many times been excavated in Shandong Province.
About 40 percent of the extant Ya-chou vessels with inscriptions are of a square shape and comprise the majority of square bronzes from Shang and Zhou.
The clan has been inferred by some scholars to be the very Bo-gu clan mentioned in Zozhuan (an ancient commentary on the Spring and Autumn Annals), a preeminent power during late Shang and destroyed by early Western Zhou.
